  • GS: In a lot of games, you rescue a princess, but this is much more direct. Why did you decide to do that?
  • Suda51: Well, when you think about the Travis character, he's an extremely up front, in-your-face guy. He acts totally off of his instincts. That's what makes him so susceptible to Sylvia's advances, you could say, so that's why it becomes his goal. He can't say no.

medisoldierdraws: Second sketch of Travis done finally. I did not make all the brushes I used for his ink, those all belong respectfully to the awesome people that made those stock brush packets. In which…I no longer have their screen names. So shame on me.  The burn/stab on the chest is meant to be more star-like without actually being a star. Inspired by a rather neat little manga panel I’ve seen floating around. I ran away plotting that into my headcanon for Travis. That was fun.  The next scribble of him I do will be something where he’s actually you know, doing his smiley swagger thing. I do RP/write him as a relatively upbeat guy. .-. It’s just that every time I draw him it sure seems like a good time to explore the angstier side of things.
